Venice was about 3 hours away from Rome via the highspeed train. It was my first time going on a high speed train which I found quite exciting. Once getting to Venice I spent almost the whole day exploring the island by foot. I also rode on a gondola. At first i was scared because the boat was quite wobbly but once it was stabilize i felt more comfortable. The views were extremely breathtaking.
